" I am Vijayaragavan Ragav from Batch 13. I studied B.Sc. in Multimedia and Animation. It was a really nice experience in college in academic and co-curricular activities. The strength of my college is our faculty team. They guided us through each and every nook and corner of the animation pipeline. I felt really good about the curriculum that gave more importance to pre-production which many colleges fail to do. I liked the teaching methodology of the Industry Experts in our faculty team. With the guidance of my college now I am working as a Production Coordinator in 3D Modelling and Texturing department at Toonz Animation."

Best of Luck!

I was a kid who didn't know how to turn her passion into a flourishing career. Then my family put my worry to rest and got me enrolled in the best animation college of Delhi, Picasso Animation College. It was a place of my dreams where I always wanted to be.

I had the best classmates and the faculty was always so dear to me. They did everything possible to help me build my identity. Today, people admire my work and my attitude. I owe this to my teachers as they used to sit for hours to help me improve my work. Because of them I am able to bring out the best in me. All this hard work paid off in the form of self-confidence that I built.

From there I learnt that a person needs to face everything in this world. Every experience of life helps you grow

I don't know what more to say. But to say it all in one sentence, 'Here, I lived the best days of my life and had the experience of a lifetime.

The values that I learnt here, keeps me going on and on.

Firstly, I would thank Singapore Tourism Board and Kuoni Academy for organising and sponsoring our tour to Singapore. Their excellent provisions and arrangements made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. Though we were on a tight schedule, but nothing in our itinerary was missed on this 5-day trip.

On our first day, we attended the Anime Festival Asia at Suntec convention. The experience was unique. It was fascinating to see the craze amongst the youth. The queue for the ticket spanned across 3 exhibition halls but we were lucky as STB had arranged the tickets for us prior to the event. The AFA (Anime Festival Asia) was hosting the regional cosplay championship. So, there were a lot of cosplayers around, dressed in various costumes! It was so entertaining to watch the excitement and the enthusiasm in them. We also had the opportunity to see the characters of 'Milky Homes' perform live. Towards the end of the programme, we interacted with a couple of organisations and discussed career opportunities for the future.

Then, we visited the Singapore Flyer that offered a skyline view of Singapore including the massive shipping port. It was a remarkable experience. The Singapore Flyer had 28 capsules which accommodated about 28 people each. It took about 30 minutes to make a complete a round. Because of the bird's eye view that it offered, I looked forward to watch one of the Singapore Grand Prix night races from there.

We took a trip to Sentosa. It was thrilling to see a Casino in real life as I had only seen it in 'reel' life! We also saw the Merlion, but only from a distance. I wish we had more time to see it up close. From there we moved towards the rides section. Unfortunately, due to bad weather it was all closed! So we decided to take a short tour of the Universal Studios and had an amazing time.

On the last day of our trip, we went to Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. The academy offers a wide range of programmes in Arts Management, 3D Design, Dance, Design & Media, Fashion Studies, Fine Art, Music and Theatre. We had a student-faculty interaction session wherein we learnt everything about the animation courses that they provide. The 3-D Design course includes Product Design, Architecture, Interior Design, 3D Games Design and Animation. After the interaction, we took the campus tour and were really impressed by the infrastructure. The library was large and comprehensive. After the lunch, we went to Tisch Asia. It is a New York based university that offers Master of Fine Arts degree in three disciplines within the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television. There we had a campus tour and a short interaction session. We also got the opportunity to visit their motion capture studio and some of us even enacted in it! Tisch Asia also offers summer high school programmes for the students who are interested in doing something useful during the summer break.

On the final day, before our scheduled departure, we cruised along the Singapore River bank. It was relaxing and the view was spectacular. The cruise accompanied by an audio narrative told the tales of yesteryears in the old Quay area. We started off our tour from Clarke Quay, passing under many bridges that spanned over the river. We went past the Raffles' Landing Site, the Marina Bay area, Merlion Park and the Fullerton Hotel. On our way back we passed through the Boat Quay where we

saw many original storehouses and then we came across Robertson Quay before finally arriving at the Clarke Quay.

That brought us to the end of the trip. We were a bit sad to leave the city and its colourful and lively spirit! I look forward to come back here and discover more about this beautiful country.

Singapore is truly a clean & green city. I want to come back here again. I feel Singapore is a place that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. We went to the Sentosa Park, Merlion, Singapore Flyer, Universal Studio, etc. It was a great experience.

Anime Fest

The life-size action figures that I saw at the festival were amazing. I wish I could own one of those action figures. It was here when I saw a cosplay for the first time. I had a lot of fun there, especially because everyone around me was so enthusiastic. I had an awesome experience at Singapore.

This institute is a paradise of art. Here, I was exposed to the depths of art. What I really liked about this institute is its library that's full of good books. Every student here can showcase his work and receive comments from other students, which I think is a great idea and can help in improving skills.

Tisch Asia

I got the opportunity to know about the advanced technology at this institute. Organic motion, green room, equipment & the story discussion room are the most interesting areas of the institute. Here, the students are provided with professional quality equipments for shooting. I really enjoyed coming here.

Science Centre

It was a great experience for us. We learnt how to edit live images from the green room and we got to know about the interesting science stuff. I really enjoyed in Singapore
